Happy New Year

Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I wish you all the best for 2015. I feel like I haven't been a very good blogger in 2014, but appreciate all of the visits, comments, and emails.

I recently read that blogs are not as popular as they were a year ago, or more. I'm just curious, do you still read blogs as much as you have in the past? If you have a blog, do you still blog as much?

Wendell is threatening to start his own blog, but I know he can't type! He send his best wishes for the New Year! Good health and happiness to you all!

  1. Happy New Year! You had me at feeling like a bad blogger. ;-) NO, I haven't been in blogland as much. I blog as a family journal but also switched to Facebook for the local biz networking it provides my horse training n teaching life. Must admit I find it much faster and with more immediate gratification. I just signed in to catch up a wee bit and saw your post, which makes me feel better. Wishing you a New Year filled with great health n much happiness!

  2. Hi-- Happy New Year to you! I haven't found the time to blog like I use to or even read blogs. I find myself on Pinterest or Facebook more these days. I try to read blogs once or twice a month. I've missed you and Wendell!

  3. I do still blog almost as much as I used to, but I confess I don't read as many. I still have some that I read regularly, but they are the ones I feel that I have connected with the author in some way. I don't read blogs just to be reading blogs. I do still read yours, though.

I still prefer blogging to other types of SNS.

  7. Happy New Year to you and your people family and your furry/feathery family, Patrice. :)

I understand how you feel. I have been a bad blogger this year. Davey leaving for the Marines just seems to have taken the life out of everything for me. I cannot seem to find words for anything anymore. I am not interacting with people as much as I used to, online or in person. I have to try to get past this, not just for my own sanity, but for that of those around me. I just don't know how to do it.

Like Romi, I do prefer blogging over other social networking. I don't know; I guess it just seems more personal. One of these days I'll get the words back and you folks will be clamoring for me to shut up. :)

Happy New Year to all of you!

  8. Came by to visit after a l-o-n-g spell. I dropped the ball on blogging, but am going to try and pick it up again in 2015. I think fb has sort of overruled blogging because it is so easy and instant!! Hope you'll stop by and visit my blog again. I just posted about my 2015 word God gave me. Happy New Year to you.

  10. Hahahaha! I can just imagine a blog by Wendell the Wonder Horse! Such hilarity. And maybe some sarcasm? LOL Happy new year! I'm still plugging along with blogging and I'm still reading though not always commenting. I simply adore the friends, like you, that I have met via blogging and do not want to miss out on others! :)
