Chats on the Farmhouse Porch 129

Hello. Wendell won't be joining us today. He's hiding from all of the snow in our hay barn. I got to the grocery before the storm hit. I was also able to go by the farm store and get some heat lamps for possible new piglets. It seems animals always give birth when conditions are poor. Hubby went out in the icy rain, that came before the snow. He was carrying a bucket of water to the sows (mama pigs) when he bumped his head on a new beam. As he got his balance back, he looked in front of him and what do you think he saw? Me. Wendell. Nope. A skunk! Fortunately, it did not spray him. That would be interesting to have happen when there's a big snow storm. We couldn't get anything to remove the smell.

Opal found a warm place to hide.

My answers:

1. I do, but ones that aren't organic always seem to make my mouth itch. I like guacamole.
2. Yes, but it isn't something I would like now.
3. I have done all of these in the past. I bought supplies for needle punch and would like to revisit that craft. I have seen some amazing blogs of this craft.
4. Gas. I had electric until two years ago. I used gas at work, in most kitchens, restaurants, and caterers.
5. I have been enjoying board games and card games with two of the girls. It's a nice break from reading or watching movies. They always win, but I have fun.
