Opal found a warm place to hide.
QUESTIONS
- Do you like avocados?
- Have you ever gone on a roller coaster?
- Do you do cross stitch, needlepoint, crewel work, or needle punch?
- Do you cook with gas or electric?
- Tell me something good, pleasant, or uplifting. Please.
- I do, but ones that aren't organic always seem to make my mouth itch. I like guacamole.
- Yes, but it isn't something I would like now.
- I have done all of these in the past. I bought supplies for needle punch and would like to revisit that craft. I have seen some amazing blogs of this craft.
- Gas. I had electric until two years ago. I used gas at work, in most kitchens, restaurants, and caterers.
- I have been enjoying board games and card games with two of the girls. It's a nice break from reading or watching movies. They always win, but I have fun.
We played a lot of board games with the children when they were home. One of our favorites is Backgammon. We would have play offs. It was a lot of fun! A little snow fell here in the Tennessee valley yesterday afternoon around 2pm. It didn't last and we only got a light dusting. Our temperatures did get really cold last night, though. I can't wait till Spring gets here for good. Next week looks promising weather-wise. I am excited about that! Thanks for hosting the fun.
ReplyDeleteThe photographs are beautiful, and thank you for good topics.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to imagine what you would do if he had been sprayed. It certainly seems that you might have an allergy to something with standard avocados.
ReplyDeleteOur son's dog got sprayed by a skunk and it took several days to get it out of the house.
ReplyDeleteI love avocados and don't do any type of needle work. Uplifting thing: when our superintendent send out the robo-call to cancel school, it is of him singing the cancellation. He does a mean Elvis impersonation.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame Wendall for hiding... this has been a brutal winter.
ReplyDeleteThat was a close call your hubby had with the skunk LOL. Board games are such a saviour on days when the kids have to stay indoors. They were a hit with my kids too when they were little.
ReplyDeleteLOL he is a smart one :)
ReplyDeleteSkunks are all over the roads in our neck of the woods....I hear it's mating season. Do they have some kind of death wish after they mate?!?? ;-) HOPE you have a great rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteI am still trucking with Bill. We have been out for a month. We have had winter storms everywhere we went. (It actually has been the worst at home, since November!) I will rejoin when I get home. Hugs to you & Wendell.
ReplyDeleteAww Your photo of Opal made my heart tear up. She looks so much like our Hallow and Punkin. Punkin disappeared months ago and we found Hallow dead at our back door on February 1. We have no idea what happened to her.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting that you're going to get new piglets. I think little pigs are cute. :)
Have a blessed week!
so sorry to hear about your kitties :(
DeleteThank you, Patrice. It just hasn't been a very good year for kitties around here.
