Hi!
I hope you don't mind this chat with its missing button. Blogger refused to accept the HTML for the button. I decided to go ahead anyway, so we would not miss another chat.

Wendell says, "No button- no horse." I think he just wanted to stay in his pasture and stalk the grass. You never know when it will turn green. Probably not this week. We will be hit with snow before Tuesday morning. Monday temps were in the 50s. By mid-week, the weatherman said it will be 13 degrees. There will be wind. Put another log on the fire and warm up the tea kettle.

  1. I always love your interesting questions! I'll play along here if you don't mind...

How many seed catalogs have arrived at you home? We've only received a couple -- I usually buy mine locally.
Will you be learning to do something new this year? I'm sure I will -- just don't know what it is yet!
How many pair of boot do you own?(This can include casual, dressy, hiking, farm, riding, snow, or any other kind of boot.) Too many to count -- I'm a boot hoarder!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner. There are decorations in the stores. Do you have anything planned for Valentine's Day? Not really -- prolly bake some sugar cookies.
Please tell me your favorite breeds of dogs. If you don't like dogs, tell me something about a favorite animal. (Please. :) German Shepherd -- we have two.

  12. Hey Patrice - How's the weather where you are? It's snowy today, but not the terrible storm they said it would be. Hah.

I got one seed catalog from High Mowing Seeds. I already got my seeds.
If there is one thing I learn this year, it will be to stick to my guns when it comes to things I take on. Be it homeschooling, homesteading, and being careful about what goes into our mouths.
I own two pair of boots. A pair for fall and a pair for winter. I am still looking for a good pair of "muck" boots, but have settled with a pair of rubber rain boots. It gets pretty muddy here.
Valentines? It's way more hyped up than it needs to be. :)
Favorite breeds of dog are golden retriever, Australian shepherd, and Border Collie. I also am a big softy for Great Pyres.

  13. I have two seed catalogs and want everything in both of them. I have a yard full of huge oak trees and, therefore, no sunlight. Nothing growing out there but weeds and spiders!

Have fun with the monoprinting. I can't wait to hear all about it. :)

    Have a great week!
