Have you chosen your Christmas Cards yet?

I can't believe that we have Thanksgiving next week. I don't care what part of the world you live in, I think the idea of having a day to remember the things we're thankful for is a great idea. I know that I'd benefit from remembering on a more frequent basis. I'm not sure I need a huge dinner with all the trimmings very often, but being mindful of my blessings would be a good practice.

Christmas is just around the corner. Wow! This year went fast! I was talking to Wendell the other day about Christmas cards. He wasn't very helpful, since he thinks a card with carrots on it would be appropriate. I guess I'll have top"go it" without his help. Wendell= helpful???

I found a great site for Christmas Cards. It's called Minted. They have a cute blog called Julep. I had fun looking around the blog. I will probably spend a while looking over the many Christmas cards. They have so many that I can't decide. The ones below are religious, they have others too. Let me show you what I'm choosing from.

I really like this card because it quotes from Luke.

This is a one from Matthew.

Here's one from John 1:14.

This card makes me think of the Christmas Carol, O Holy Night.

Let us adore is really neat with its different background.

Okay, I tried to show these to Wendell. No carrots= no help. Can I get some help from my blog friends? Which one do you like best? I can't decide and I'd love to hear what you think. I'm thinking about one photo with my four daughters. Please leave me a comment and let me know which one you'd choose.

Disclosure- I do not work for this company. I have reviewed their cards and I will choose some for our family. The company was kind to give me product credit.

  3. I love the first one from Luke. My husband and I have always loved sending Christmas cards but we noticed we get Christmas emails now! We appreciate the emails, but we sure miss the cards!

  6. I think the clever use of various fonts and sizes is eye-catching. I also like that the cards, for the most part, speak of the reason for the season.

  8. I've already picked them, ordered them, received them, addressed and stamped them! WooHoo! I like the O Holy Night one. But just because it's one of my favorite carols. I used Shutterfly for the first time and liked them.

  11. I love all your picture cards :) And as bad as it sounds, I think I am not going to do cards this year. I know it sounds horrible but I've been sending out Christmas cards for many many years and truthfully I haven't gotten many back in return. I struggle with the fact that I should never EXPECT one back in return. That is not what it is all about. It is about spreading the cheer, giving love and joy. But now I am struggling with... what if that cheer, love and joy I am trying to spread around is not really wanted. And that puts me in a very insecure mood. It is screwing me up morally and emotionally. So I haven't completely decided yet. My heart says to do it anyways. To always do it. But my mind and my heart are not communicating right now. Tsch.
