Our Broad Breasted Bronze Turkeys
Oink
"Would you like to go out for a drink?"
They were sound asleep until my camera shutter went "click"!
Little Cocoa
Recycle, Renew, Repurpose- right? This old truck cap makes a wonderful shelter for
our small pigs. Now, when they get to be full sized hogs, they might stand up in it
and look like Darth Vadar( Star Wars)!
The "Belly Club"! Most of these girls are due to lamb soon. There are a few rams and young ones in the picture too.
These are the sophisticated tools we use for turning our compost. All of the clippings from plants, and old veggies go into this pile. It helps the gardens, once it has cooked long enough in its pile. It's then applied to the gardens. These pigs love digging and rooting in the dirt!
Hope you enjoyed our walk!
We'll have to see if we can get to see Wendell next time.
Farm life at its best...I loved walking around with you and seeing all that's going on at your place....I'd say it's pretty busy with all those animals to take care of every day.....
ReplyDeleteUm, and some sheeps :-D.
ReplyDeleteWow Patrice, I didn't know that you had so many different farm animal. Wendall usually take the centre stage. I wonder what he will think that he was left out of this post.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why God make pigs pink. They would probably answer, "So the dirt show better" lol.
God's blessings on this beautiful day.
Hugs,
JB
