- How well do you handle change?
- What did you have for breakfast this morning?
- What's your favorite kind of nut? (Almond, pecan, peanut, walnut, cashews, macadamia, brazil, etc)
- Do you have a pumpkin in your house or yard?
- Would you like it if I changed the format of these Chats? What do you think would be good? Would you enjoy fill in the blanks, one big topic to discuss, or something else?
My answers:
- I used to be good at handling change. It's getting harder as I get older. Some change is welcome and very good. Other is more challenging.
- Fried eggs and a veggie/fruit smoothie.
- I love pecans and almonds. Mac and cashews are good too. Walnuts would send me to the ER.
- I have a cute baking pumpkin from our garden sitting on my kitchen counter. I had two, but I made an Apple-Pumpkin Soup with bacon. It was crazy popular around here. I think hubby and the employees liked the fresh, hot bread too.
- I asked you first!!! Wendell would like to discuss carrots, apples, and hay.
Have a Wendell kind of week!
Seriously, I'm in with whatever you decide for the chat!
ReplyDeleteToo bad walnuts give you an allergic reaction. They are a stronger fruit. Was there any soup leftover?
ReplyDeleteSeems like we might be on the same wave length. I've been doing a lot of cleaning out, too. We took several huge bags of clothing to the local thrift store last week!!! Glad to be joining in again this week....it's been too long!!! HOPE you have a great rest of the week!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have 6 black walnut trees in our yard, that are dropping right now. I like English walnuts but hate black walnuts, nasty tasting.
ReplyDeleteUsually I'm good with change but lately it has been too much all at once. I did take 2 large garbage bags of clothes to good-will a few weeks ago. Barely made a dent :( I'm OK with whatever you do for the chat. I don't join in every single week but I do enjoy it. I am amazed at how you have maintained it for so long. It is a big commitment and you do it well.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that walnuts send you to the ER. Cashews make my lips swell up like the Goodyear blimp and get all icky stinky and split open. It didn't use to be this way. Now, I can't eat my very favorite nut. Grrr Cashews, in my opinion, are on the same level as shrimp and cheesecake. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't see the link-up, so here's my link:

Your breakfast sounds good :) That's too bad about the walnuts sending you to the ER - thats my mom and chocolate.
I usually just have a banana. Boring, I know. I love cashews.
ReplyDeleteYour apple-pumpkin soup sounds interesting. I kept typing pecan instead of pumpkin. :-) I love cashews but eating pecans by the handful is yummy too, till I need them for baking. Have a great weekend!!
