Chats on the Farmhouse Porch 103

I think the summer chats should be around the kitchen cooking island. It's much cooler inside. The temps this week are better than last week, but it is still July. I'm just not a fan of hot weather. I know that my beloved fall is only around the corner. It might be a very warm corner though. Hello, people! I wanted to thank everyone who asked me a question in the last chat. I had fun visiting everyone and answering the questions. I had the some trouble, Becky. We apparently need to change to some other comment thing. Patrice wants you to know that she reads you every week, but has not been able to answer. She is a little bit computer slow. So, be patient with her. :) Got to go graze! The grass is growing as we speak. Oh, look another blade of grass...
QUESTIONS

1. Do you use any type of water filter (pitcher or sink mount)?
2. Do you have any tips for staying hydrated in the warmer weather?
3. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
4. Are you on top of all the chores/work you do, or are you always running behind?
5. If you could sing a song to Wendell, what would it be?

My answers:

(Actually, Wendell's answers. He just pushed me away from the keyboard and said he had to hurry before the pasture grew too quickly.)

1. Patrice uses a Brita Filter, but I don't want one of those silly things down at the barn. I could never pick up the handle!
2. Get to the water trough before the other horse. Gulp-gulp-gulp.
3. My hair is perfect. Thank you for asking! Patrice has wavy hair. I wonder who it waves to.
4. I'm always running out front, but it's too hot lately so I shall walk. Patrice is years behind on EVERYTHING! Not that she takes on too much or anything like that! (Hear the horsey sarcasm!)
5. I can't wait to hear these answers. Sing to me, friends! Patrice declined to answer this. She didn't want to sing this morning. She says she is meeting a special friend for tea. I wish she'd take me! Perhaps she could convince the folks in the tea shop that it's" take a horse for tea day". You know, it could become a national holiday. Maybe Hallmark could make a card for it. Wow! The possibilities are endless. By the way- what's tea?
