Fast food for lambs?
Our questions this week are ones given by folks who meet on the porch. It's fun to have some new questions.
QUESTIONS
- Furry Bottoms asks: Did you grow up in a small town, or a big town? Did you like it?
- Lisa wants to know: If you could pick one song to hear for the rest of your life, what would it be?
- Karen asks: What are your pet peeves?
- Colletta says: Do you remember your dreams? Are they in color or black and white? What is the craziest dream you've ever had?
- Rachel asks: What is the perfect pair of shoes for you?
My answers: (Mine, too)
- I grew up outside of a Colonial city. I liked it a lot and still enjoy returning to it for visits. I grew up in a Penthouse in the middle of a big city. Wendell- are you into fiction writing lately? I'm learning to use my immaggiemation. Are you trying to say "imagination"? That's what I said. Consider it artistic license!
- My favorite song, that I believe I could listen to for eternity is Restless.
Wendell would like a song about carrots. You can skip this question, buddy!
3.My biggest pet peeves are gossip and laziness. I have seen gossip literally destroy folks. Poor room service too my stall!
4.I do remember many of my dreams. I dream in color always. The craziest dream I ever had was either an old one where I dreamed that I got up for work, got dressed, and was ready to leave. It was so real that I forgot I actually had to go to work until I was late. I had a dream this week that my hubby and kid set up a big table outside of our front door- it was a few miles long. It was covered with stuff. When I asked them what it was, the told me they'd cleaned up all the clutter in the house and were having a yard sale. Can I go to the yard sale, Patrice? Uh? Sure, big guy. ???
5. It depends on where I'm headed, but lately, cowboy boots are perfect for me. I love heels too, but they aren't practical on the farm. Silly, Patrice! Horseshoes! Where are mine? You're barefoot, dude. Well, can I get some flip flops? For you they'd be clip-clops!
Have a super week!
Wendell, i just love your sense of humor. a song about carrots, i bet there is one. ha. ha!!
ReplyDeletei love shoes too. you can never have too many shoes. ever. ha. ha!! ( :
The little lambs are so precious. So sorry to hear about the loss of your piglets.
ReplyDeleteOh Patrice, I didn't even mention laziness and gossip in my pet peeves, but they are *definitely* two of my pet hates too. I don't like. at. all.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about the piglets... it can be so hard when things don't go right in the world of nature. Hopefully, the lambs will perk up your spirits :)
Sorry to hear about your piglets :(
ReplyDeletethe lambs are adorable. sorry the piglets didn't make it...
ReplyDeleteYour sheep and lambs are so clean and cute.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the lost of your pig litter. I hope that they didn't get too cold. They don't have much body fur to keep them warm. I saw some pig litters at the Farm Museum in Ottawa and they were in a barn and had a heat lamp in the corner so the little piglets could find warmth.

Ooooh laziness is one of my pet peeves as well! Love the lambs and sorry about the piggies. :(
ReplyDeleteLove the clip-clop flip-flop idea! Your lambs are precious. I am so sorry for your loss - how sad.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about the piglets.
ReplyDeleteGossip and laziness are two of my pet peeves too, nothing good ever comes from either one.
Love your reply to Wendell's request for shoes...clip-clops! LOL!!
Love your baby lambs - perfect setting for Resurrection Sunday coming up!
ReplyDeleteLoss on a farm is always hard - hoping your heart heals in time...
and Wendell, must you always hog up moms blog? lol
Clip-clops...that's so funny!! I don't like flip flops at all....could be because I was forced to wear them all summer long growing up!!! ;-) That song is beautiful. HOPE you have a great Tuesday and rest of the week....Happy Spring!!!
ReplyDeleteClip-clops! Hilarious! The lambs are so cute! I hate wearing shoes. That's the one really good thing about living down here- I don't need to close my toes in very often cause it's warm or hot most of the time. When I was a little girl I had a pair of cowboy boots and I loved them! I wouldn't mind having a pair now but haven't gotten around to buying any. Hugs to everyone up there!
ReplyDeleteLove Wendell's answers today. Sorry, I ran out of time and couldn't post this morning!
ReplyDeleteI liked Wendells purple answers! Sorry about the piglets. But the little lambs are sweet. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI grew up as an Air Force Brat and I have to say that I love the sound of silence :)

ReplyDeleteWeather report is calling for snow all week long; at least I've got a load of wood on the back porch. Yes, Patrice, I do have American Curly horses; used to breed and raise them, now they're pasture ornaments. -grin-
ReplyDeleteThe lambs are so cute- sorry about the piglets. We are expecting little piggies here...due tomorrow.
