Chats on the Farmhouse Porch 84

Everyday Ruralty
Hello, Friends! Today's chat will be a bit different than the last few months. Last week I asked for your questions to use in upcoming weeks. I appreciate all the question ideas. After quite a few chats, I'm running out! It will be a nice break for me. Wendell asked if he could participate. You'll see his answers below mine, in purple.
  1. Beth asks:What's your favorite movie of all times? The one you've seen multiple times.
  2. Clairity says: Name three things that are permanent residents in your handbag or purse.
  3. Red asks: What's the best way to your heart?
  4. Mamaw wants to know: Do you like going to yard sales?
  5. Cathy says: If you could slide down a rainbow, what do you think you'd find on the other side?
My answers (Mine, too):
  1. My favorite movie of all times would have to be Babe. I love it! Forget the second one. :P(Blah!)             My favorite movie of all times was Veggie Tales with Laura the Carrot. I love her! If you do not know what I'm talking about, check this out.Laura the Carrot
  2. My wallet (full, empty or anything in between), my sunglasses- when not on my face, and Kleenex.     If I had a handbag, I'd fill it with apples and carrots. I have no hands, so how can I have a handbag?
  3. Taking the time to be interested in what I'm doing, doing things for me (I love a helper), and CHOCOLATE!                                                                                                                                I feel funny answering this! All of my wonderful porch friends know how to get to Wendell's heart. Such a silly question. Just in case you don't know, Scratch my long, horsey neck and when you get to the bottom of my neck, go around- under my front leg. My heart is in my chest. Can you go back to scratching my neck? Please?
  4. I love going to yard sales.                                                                                                                 Patrice never takes me to yard sales. We'd have to take the horse trailer, and she wouldn't do that. Besides, we already have a yard. Now if some green grass would grow, we'd be set!
  5. I would really hope to find a pot of gold. I could use some.                                                                 I would follow the orange streak in the rainbow and find a pot of carrots. Could you see this big horse sliding down a rainbow. I think it sounds like fun! Can I bring Rocky and Ricky Horse?
I hope everyone has a great week!

  1. Patrice, sorry it's been so long. I hate how life gets in the way of blogging..LOL. Any way I love yard sales too! I love it when I find a treasure...Have a blessed week

  2. I'm with you on Babe. The second was horrible!

I don't normally leave carrots for Wendell, but here you go. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I would love to find a pot of gold and I can't wait for yard sales.....I could use that pot of gold at the yard sales! LOL

  4. I love movies so I have a hard time picking one! But right now I would say Pride and Prejudice (A&E version)
I love garage sales and thrift shops :)
    Have a good week!

  5. Picking one movie was a hard one for me. We like Babe as well. We have not seen that one in a long time.

  6. Haven't had a chance to participate lately, but I will share my favorite movie....Shawshank Redemption. I don't know how many times I've seen it but I love the message it portrays about endurance!!! HOPE you and Wendell have a great day!

  7. Do you know I have never seen Babe? I am going to have to rent it.

  8. Absolutely, agree on that pot of gold! I really had to think about that favorite movie question. I think it's great that you actually used the suggested questions! Have a good week.

  9. Love it when Wendell answers too! How are y'all doing? I feel like I haven't talked with you in forever!

  10. I love the addition of Wendell's answers! I agree about that pot of gold! xo

  11. Babe was cute! I don't think I ever saw the second one.

  12. I have never seen Babe. Wishing you and Wendell have a wonderful week!

  13. Wendell you are too cute. silly i know but i have to ask - do you ever watch Mr. Ed? such a cool horse. ( :

  14. Wendell always has the sweetest answers! I've never seen Babe either. Chocolate will also make me a very happy lady :). Have a blessed week.

  15. Hi Patrice-- I don't think I've ever watched Babe. Enjoyed the questions.

  16. Loved that Wendell answered, too. :) I agree completely about the way to your heart. It means so much to have someone show an interest in something we're interested in. It is hard to feel like they care at all if they couldn't care less what you're doing and are bored to tears if you try to talk about your interests.

A pot of gold would come in mighty handy, too!

    Have a great week!
