Many of you have seen the wonderful art that my D2 produces. She's a very talented young lady. D3 has a special friend at her horse shows. It's a lady who is both a mom and a grandmom. She only has positive, encouraging words for my daughter. I think she's awesome! D3 wanted a special Christmas gift to give her at the group's January Awards Banquet. She commissioned (read- begged) D2 to do a graphite drawing from a photo that she took. Here's the result:
Would you like to see more of my daughter's art?
She's soon to open an Etsy shop to do custom portraits. I will let everyone know when that gets opened.
These pictures are absolutely gorgeous! Your daughter has been blessed with such talent. I love her attention to detail! I went and looked at the dog portraits as well! It is not easy to capture a dog's personality, but she has! I love the one with the dogs ears sticking up! He looks like he is hoping for a treat or a morsel from the table to fall to the ground!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
Love, Heather
that is awesome, so great, & talented too!! what a true gift. ( :
ReplyDeleteI truly love graphite drawings. My own experience has been similar. I have a talent in art that has been undeveloped (hope God doesn't treat me too harshly for that), and my preferred medium is graphite - pencil. For some reason I can't seem to master color, but I can control dark and light.
ReplyDeleteShe does beautiful work.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry that I couldn't get a clear picture of my son's horse last year when I won your give away because something technical problem with my computer and the settings that I didn't know how to fix and I missed out on her art gift. I'm glad that someone who really needed a lift got it though.
Your daughter will do really well.
