I was so happy to receive a new tin in the mail. It was sent to me by
Mamaw. She's a regular visitor on the farmhouse porch for our Tuesday "Chats". Thank you, Mamaw. My tins on the top of the cupboard look more complete now that there's a Town Hall.
It seems to be a busy town!
I like that cat in the window. He must be the official town cat.
If I were a cat, I'd want to live in a quaint, little bookstore.
do you have pic of the whole town some where? that would be cool to see. have a great day. is there a Wendell too? ha. ha!! ( :
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome. I figured it would fit in good with the rest of the town.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Yes, love the cat in the window too! Have you read the book 'Dewey'? It's a true story about a cat that lived in the library of a small town. There's a second book out too but I haven't read that one yet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thoughtful gift. As the owner of 5 kitties, I love the cat in the window, too. The book Gone Country mentions sounds like a good read. Happy New Year, Mildred
ReplyDeleteOh, how sweet of Mamaw to send that to you. It's so pretty and so nice of her!!! I like that it's CHRISTmas, too!!! I adore having such good blogging friends...especially, CHRISTian ones!!! HOPE you have a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is sweet. I actually work at a Town Hall (but we don't have a cat)
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet gift!
ReplyDeletePretty tin and if I were a cat, I'd want to live in a book and tea shop.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you got one. Now every time I go somewhere I keep my eyes open for one of those tins. I am glad I am not the only one. I hope you get lots and lots. I hope to find one someday for you.
ReplyDeleteI am the same way! Every time I see a little house tin, I think of you too! I have become addicted to collecting my little Christmas houses. It is like having a little world. Every time I get a another style house, I feel like I am giving my town more options. I guess it is the child in us that gets excited over these things! As Mr. Rogers says, “The child is in me still and sometimes not so still.” :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Heather
That is absolutely adorable! You should be feeling super special now! :-) LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious gift Patrice!
ReplyDeleteI's like to sincerely thank you so much for your message, I've been hesitant about putting such personal things on the blog as I'd hate folk to think I'm whining, I realise that there are folk out there who have to deal with far worse things than this. I know deep down things will get sorted out, it just took the feet from under me as I wasn't feeling well myself.
Bless you.
Wishing you and your sweet family a happy and healthy 2013.

How cute -- I had a few tins like this, but I imagine I gave them away (with treats inside.) Such a generous and thoughtful bloggy friend. :)
