Chats on the Farmhouse Porch 73

Everyday Ruralty
Hello! Welcome to my porch. I think we better go inside and have a nice cup of tea or coffee. Wendell can stand outside of the window and make faces at all our visitors. Just to let you know, there will not be a chat next week. I think everyone will be busy with Christmas. Please plan to visit the following week.
I had a fun time going to a theatrical performance of White Christmas. It was a play based on the old movie with Bing Crosby. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A few days later we had some friends in for dinner and cookie baking. Seven bakers can produce a lot of cookies!
As we finish out this year of chatting, I want to let you know how much I appreciate each and every one of you who stop by to say hello. Some of you are here like clockwork each week and others visit every now and then. I think you're all wonderful! Thank you for taking the time to visit Wendell and me. He loves company.
    QUESTIONS
  1. What would you like to see under your Christmas tree?
  2. What is your best color for clothes?
  3. Tell me your favorite kind of cookie.
  4. What's in the middle of your dining table right now? (flowers, a lazy susan with condiments, Christmas decorations...)
  5. Please help me spread Christmas cheer to my buddy, Wendell. Please a wish for him here. :)
My answers:
  1. Lots of good things for my girls. Me? How about dark chocolate or salted caramels? A million dollars. A DSLR camera. Enough gift cards to make the tree tilt. I'll stick with my first answer.
  2. I like blue, but whenever I wear greens or browns I get complimented. The only colors I can't wear well are oranges, bright red, gold, and lavender. Black looks good no matter what hair color I'm sporting.
  3. Oatmeal/ Raisin (or dried cranberry) I've never objected to chocolate chips in my oatmeal cookies either.
  4. An advent wreath
  5. Wendell- I love you. I think you need four stockings so you can hang them up at the barn on Christmas Eve. You'll have to share your goodies with the other horse.

  6. *sigh* In the middle of the formal dining table there are gifts and homemade hot cocoa mix to be wrapped/bagged. I do love a good chocolate chip cookie :) Gifts for the kids under the tree is enough for me. A special Merry Christmas wish for dear Wendell. There is nothing like the love one can have for a pet.
