Yay! I'm all fired up!

I just checked my blog this morning and I found out that I have 600 followers. I would prefer to call them readers. Welcome to any new folks. I can't wait to tell Wendell! If I know my boy, he'll see it as potential for more carrots.

(yes- those are smores ingredients in the right corner of the photo)

I'm progressing at my writing project for NaNoWriMo. You can see my word count since November 1st on my sidebar. I hope to make it go up significantly by this evening. I am dedicating today to my novel. My only regret is not being a better typist. Isn't it funny how you perceive things as a young person, then the 20-20 hindsight when you get older. I took typing in high school, but all my friends had off during that period of class. It also happened to be the time when all of the school football players hung out in the break room. Needless to say, I wasn't in class as much as I should have been. If I'd only known that one day I would need to know what the sweet lady with the beehive hair-do was trying to teach me! That's why they call it 20-20 hindsight.

Wishing you a weekend that would make Wendell smile!

  2. I can't remember the last time I was at a bonfire, it's been a long time ago. I do, however, remember how much fun they are!

  4. Hmmm...perhaps beehive hairdos were a requirement to being a typing teacher?!!

  5. I sure enjoy a good bonfire especially if Smores are involved!

    Congrats on 600 followers!

I have quite a few 20-20 hindsights, sigh. Oh well, I'm trying to make up for those moments now. It's just that's it takes longer to learn something new the older I get, ha!
