I found more tin houses.

Within a week of posting about my tin houses, I started to find more. This is amazing to me, because I feel lucky if I can find a new one every six months. Look what a trip to a consignment store and a trip to the Goodwill store produced for my little collection.
A place to get chocolates is a necessity!

This is the most appropriate tim for my collection, since I'm a tea addict!

A good general store can be quite helpful.:)

A pink house-why not?

Now here is the most unusual one that I've found yet. It's a grist mill.

I had just finished writing this post when I stumbled upon another tin. This one is an opera house. This is appropriate for me, since I have an opera daughter.

My little tin village is turning out to be an interesting little town. I will still be on the lookout for more house tins. D2 says I will need more kitchen cabinets to give them a home. I'll have to think of something clever if the collection gets that big!

  1. I love your tin house collection, Patrice!
I bet they are a fun item to search for!

  2. Those are adorable. I can't believe you were able to find so many new ones. I think my favorite is the Pink House but I also like the sweet shop. Too cute.

  8. Oh, how I wish I could find one that you don't have so I could mail it to you!!! I'm thinking that would be a great CHRISTmas gift!! I'm gonna search!!! HOPE you've had a great Monday....I'm late visiting 'cause I had to take a little trip up the road to see our GRANDsons. The oldest asks his Momma (our daughter) every day, "Do we get to see Nannie today?". Even with tons of stuff to do, I dropped it all and headed up there!!! Jess told them they had me and Pappy wrapped around their little fingers!!!

  9. I love these. I also like the sweet shop.

  10. I am so glad that you found more. How special is that? I think they are lovely.

  11. These tins are adorable. You have some unique ones, too! What a fun collection.
