It only looks like a green pumpkin.

Everyone thought this little fellow was a green pumpkin. He's actually a zucchini. The variety is called "Eight Ball". This would be perfect for stuffing with meat and veggies, and an Italian sauce. Then one must smother it with CHEESE. Oops! The German Shepherd heard me. She's obsessed with chee... I better not say it again. Shhh!

  1. Hello Patrice!
Wow! That is a gorgeous (and different!) zucchini! I am going to plant them next year. I love going out to the garden and finding all the surprises that were not there the day before!

  2. I've never seen a zucchini like that. I've seen lots of recipes lately for zucchini fries, baked in the oven and covered with cheese....can you imagine how many fries you could get from a zucchini that size!!! ;-) HOPE you have a great day!!!

  7. What a cute little zucchini! We grow the long ones that turn into baseball bats seemingly overnight.
