These lovely flowers have nothing to do with the post, but they are so bright and pretty.
:)
My good friend's husband knocked on our front door last week. After putting our crazy dogs away, I answered the door. As I opened it I noticed he was holding flowers. Well- sort of. He handed me this.
O's hubby: "These are for you. They're not from me. They're from my wife."
Me: "Oh, thank you." (Now reread that with large question marks in my voice.)
O's hubby: "I didn't want you to get the wrong idea."
Me: "Good. Because if they are from you, you sure are cheap!"
O's hubby: (roaring laughter)
I believe these are supposed to root for me and supply me with the lovely pink hydrangeas I have been wanting for the last few years. They are turning very brown, so I may purchase a baby bush and thank her profusely next time she comes to the farm.:)

too darn cute!

Blame it on the acid in the soil if your bush ends up being the wrong color.
ReplyDeleteWell gee, I guess it is the thought that counts. I thought you were going to say that was your mantel and those were your blue canning jars filled with flowers. I am nuts about blue canning jars by the way.
ReplyDeleteMy hydrangeas are beautiful. I wish I could give you some. :)
