Chats on the Farmhouse Porch 46 and NuNaturals Winners

Everyday Ruralty

Hello, friends! I haven't been around much the last week and I appreciate your patience. I have NO email virus as I first thought. The man at the computer store was certain that I had the type of virus that invades email. The tech said there wasn't any. SO- if you are someone I email, it's safe to open mail from me. :)

I used Random.org to draw for my NuNaturals giveaway. Congratulations to the following four winners. If I don't hear from you by Friday, June 15th, I will have to draw again. Just email me at  patrice@everydayruralty.com. I will need your name, street address (no P.O. boxes), and your email.
The Winners
*Teri the Freshman Cook
*Pam Lofton (You were meant to win this- you came up four times on Random.org!)
*danw78704
*Pattie at Hollyhock Farm

I would like to thank Cathy Kennedy for helping me with my Chats on the Farmhouse Porch button! It was so kind of you  to fix my code. I'd given up! Thanks! <big hug>

Questions
  1. What do you do when friends or family pull out a camera? Hide, pose, smile, pull out your own camera and take a photo of whatever they are photographing, or something else?
  2. Did you take any type of music lesson in elementary school?
  3. What is your favorite color of cat (even if you aren't a cat person)?
  4. What did you have for dinner yesterday?
  5. Do your feet hit the floor running in the morning, or do you drag your self out of bed?
My answers:
1. I used to love having my picture taken(youth!). Now days, I seem to be the one behind the camera. When someone else is taking pictures I just smile and get on with life.
2. I took piano and had so many different teachers that I never did well. I wish I had stuck with it when I was older. I think my brain would have just worked better for it as a pre-teen or teen. Some of it just wouldn't click when I was small and the teacher switching just made it worse.
3. I LOVE gray cats.
4. The family had pulled pork on potato rolls, pasta salad with lots of veggies, potato salad, and mango chicken salad. We're still eating leftovers from oldest daughter's graduation party on Sunday.
5. I've never been quick at getting up in the morning, but it seems to take me longer now. I actually let myself have 20-30 minutes, when possible, to be fully awake. I'm a much happier person when I'm kind to myself when starting my day.
Have a wonderful day!

  2. Glad to hear you don't have a virus. How's Wendell doing? I haven't been on much lately. It's crazy getting settled in to a new place.

  4. Glad about your lack of a virus. I can't wait to have a barn! I want to go to my local shelter & adopt several gray kitties. They have to be outside because of the Girl's allergies :o(. They look so sweet, yet full of surprise. Can you tell I don't have any?

  5. I'm like you, regretting not having stuck out piano lessons. Maybe, one day I'll try learning again. Thanks for hosting!

  6. Your answer to #2 could be mine- word for word. I'd like to see me try to get 20-30 minutes of waking up time with two dogs staring at me and then, if I'm not fast enough, licking me in the face. :) How's Wendell? Give him a hug from me!

And now---I WON! I WON! I WON! I mean, thank you! I WON! LOL

  7. We have four new kitties, probably a month old now. They are adorable! One is a soft gray tabby, one is dark gray with white, one is a very dark, almost black shade of gray, and the other one is all black. They are too cute for words. :)

I'm glad that you don't have a virus and glad to be rid of mine, too! People need to find something better to do than making a virus to cause other people problems.

Thanks for stopping by P.S. Annie and commenting there. Have a great week!

  8. Your leftovers sound pretty yummy.

I wish I had a cat and would probably take any color. Gray is pretty, too.
