Our Trip Last Week
D1 and I took a road trip last week. We went to central Virginia. I had my camera, but it remained in my purse the entire time. It's impossible to get pictures if you are driving. Fortunately, D1 had her "why-does-my-kid-have-a-camera-that's-so-much-better-than-mine-oh-I-drool-over-that-thing" Nikon with her. The trip down was filled with her iPod music and the sound of the camera shutter(constantly). I'm not complaining. "Just saying-correctly." It was fun to share my daughter's things on that trip. I felt like a teen for a few minutes there. Leave it to the accurate lights in a hotel to shatter that image when you look in the mirror. Frankly, after driving for a long time, I felt like someone much, MUCH older than a teen! We had a fun time. Here are the photos she took.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty pictures. I love all of the colors and the textures.
ReplyDeleteI love the fall colors and the misty mountains. Oh, those long car rides really do shatter the ego - especially when you have to struggle to stand up and waddle into the restroom!

WOW! Great shots! K has her letter ready to go and should be en route Monday. We have been crazy busy as usual, but have a newly crowned seven year old and a great nephew to show for it plus Steve finally put the combine away today. Oh, and I subbed for 1.5 days! My first gig! Woo!
