There's a calm before the storm.
(It's kind of eerie out there right now!)
The calm was quite evident to me last night.
We are right in the path of Hurricane Irene.
Today is spent in preparation.
We are picking everything in the garden that can possibly be picked.
This is the sunset in my window last night.
C.S.Farmer is busy trying to secure everything for the animals.
Some of them are so vulnerable.
After a morning in the garden, I'm trying to get things ready
in the house if we lose power.
Please keep us in your prayers. Not just us, but the whole Mid-Atlantic area. With one little puff, God could blow this whole
thing back out to sea.
Have a blessed and safe weekend!
Dear Patrice, I will most certainly be thinking of you and your friends, family and neighbours. Hope you are all safe.

Be safe, be safe . . .
ReplyDeletePraying for your family, farm, and all those soon to be affected. I have family in Va. Beach - they just got hit w/ the earthquake the other day too. (cousin bought her dog a raincoat in preparation ;} )
ReplyDeleteGood luck! It looks like the storm should be weakening, so hopefully everything will be OK!
ReplyDeletePreparing for the storm and heightened anxieties is really hard on one's nerves.
Stay safe and well. x
