Generally speaking, we are a Carhartt family. One exception is the farm coat that D3 uses. It's a different brand and it's pink. Well, it was pink before horses slobbered on it and a baby calf spilled milk from her bottle.

It was D2. Doesn't everyone dress like this on a farm? When you're training to be an opera singer and you are fortunate enough to be raised in the heart of agriculture, "the world is your stage!"

Princess is a copycat. Copyhen?
"Is the world my stage?"

Hilarious! Especially the pig....'Is the world my stage?'!! Isn't it wonderful not to have close neighbours... well, except those who oink, neigh or cackle!
ReplyDeleteSo funny! I can relate to the Carhartt jacket. I once shopped at Neiman-Marcus, now it's Southern States and Tractor Supply.
ReplyDeleteA cast of (pink) characters!

I'll be smiling for the rest of the day when I think of this post!

That is a cool picture. I bet your daughters teacher was curious. Did you have a nice evening? Did it go well. I prayed.
ReplyDeleteI love it:@)
ReplyDeleteI can not say anyone around me has ever desired to be an opera singer. (Although there is an Opera house close by...)
ReplyDeleteI love that photo of your daughter in the pink dress! Talk about a photo op! It's beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteOur daughter did a photoshoot with her horse before she sent her wedding dress to the cleaners...she had her boots on and it was terrific. I see nothing wrong with dressing like that around the farm!
ReplyDeleteHow cute Patrice!! That picture is one of a kind.
ReplyDeleteVoted for you on the fence.
Give me Southern States and the local hardware store anytime...now that I got smart!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteNothing better than pink farm clothes even if it's a formal gown! Love it!
