A Little Visit

Yesterday morning there was something unusual in one of our pastures. There were two horses. Horses aren't unusual here, but the two guys peacefully grazing weren't ours. Two mini horses from a neighbor's place decided we had more grass and a visit was in order. The owners came quickly after being called. The two little guys were smaller than our German Shepherd. One could hardly get upset with the two, since they didn't get in our garden. We couldn't get upset with the owners either. A few years ago, our 2000 pound 19.1 hand Clydesdale decided to visit the neighbor's sheep. He was fascinated with them. I'm sure that was a bit more sobering to wake up to than the mini horses!

  1. I am so sorry you are sick. Well, God knew who needed the box, right.
My email is kimh1@sbcglobal.net and I will send it off. Nothing worse than having what you have.

    Blessings!

  2. That's too cute! I agree w/ you - 2 minis vs. 1 Clydesdale - I think you got the least jolting of the 2 scenarios. :)

We usually get the neighbor's beef cattle at our place, but have had a mule come over from behind our place too. :)

  6. Hi Patrice,
Darling horses! Hope you feel better soon, too, and altho I don't take my own advice, I still feel compelled to tell you to please(!) get as much rest as possible. Bronchitis is nothing to fool around with. It can turn into pneumonia if you don't take care of it.

  8. That is why I am so thankful because the ladies I have met are about the best in whole world. The dear sweet ladies are such a wonderful bunch.

Rest and get well. After my two oldest got married, 3 weeks apart, I got bronchitis. I have never been so sick in my whole life. It took me forever to get well. I didn't rest.

enjoy just reading blogs without guilt. Maybe the whole Pride and Prejudice set, or Sense and Sensibility:)

I wished I could have got the box to you today. I mailed it and it should be there by Wednesday.

I loved the picture of the little guys out in your pasture this morning. It looks so fallish and pretty out there.

So glad that God picked you and I am so glad you came for a visit when I needed it and you raised my spirits.
